Yes, all NEW patients to Beyond ADHD must book a "Step 1: ADHD Assessment" to allow your Nurse Practitioner to learn about you and your ADHD and develop a personalized treatment plan. Before your appointment, you must send us documentation of your diagnosis and/or treatment using the contact well below.

We cannot refill ADHD medications if you still have a family doctor, nurse practitioner, or psychiatrist. However, we can help patients who have lost their prescriber.

Getting Started with Direct2U Prescriptions

Enjoy campus convenience!

Your on-campus health clinic (or any medical provider) can send your prescription to a Sobeys Pharmacy or Lawtons Drugs of your choice. Prescription pick-up is minutes away by foot or vehicle. Multiple convenient locations close to campus, across HRM and Nova Scotia to serve students no matter where you are.

Here's how it works:

1. Ask your medical provider to send your prescription to a Sobeys Pharmacy or Lawtons Drugs of your choice.

2. The prescription will be sent on your behalf by the clinic and the pharmacy will fill the prescription.

3. The prescription will be available at the pharmacy for pick-up at your convenience. Upon arrival, present your drug card when picking up your medications. Please give the pharmacy a minimum of 1 hour before attempting pick up. You do not need to refernce D2U Prescriptions when picking up medications.

4. If you are new to the pharmacy, you can speed up pick-up by registering with the pharmacy before pickup by downloading the 360 Health & Wellness mobile app and setting up your account.

5. If you prefer to drop off your prescription to the pharmacy directly you may do so at any location of your choice.

While we encourage you to enjoy the convenience and freedom of prescription pick-up across HRM and Nova Scotia, prescription delivery is available at no extra charge.

Students requesting delivery must follow these steps:

1. Ask your medical provider to write “delivery” and your phone number on the prescription before sending.

2. The pharmacy will contact you to confirm your account and delivery details including location and delivery method and provide prescription counselling.

3. For prescriptions with refills, the pharmacy will contact you before each fill to confirm delivery details.

4. Delivery will be made to the patient only at a location of their choice. If the patient is unavailable to sign for the delivery, the medication delivery will be delayed. If your prescription is urgent, choosing in-pharmacy pickup is the best way to ensure there are no delays.

Please note; select medications including Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) medications are subject to delivery regulations and restrictions. In these cases, medications must be picked-up by the patient directly.

Is your prescription currently at another pharmacy? No problem. Here’s how easy it is to transfer:

1. Call or visit a Sobeys Pharmacy or Lawton's Drugs of your choice and ask them to contact your current pharmacy to transfer your prescription. They will ask what pharmacy your medication is currently at and what the medication name and dosage is.

2. Download the 360Health & Wellness mobile app and register for an account to manage prescriptions including requesting a transfer from the current pharmacy.

What if I want to continue to use North End Pharmacy / DrugSmart pharmacy?

You can continue to use North End Pharmacy / DrugSmart pharmacy but D2U level coverage will no longer be available as of January 1, 2026.


My plan has tiered coverage, what does that mean?

A tiered plan design offers higher insurance coverage when you use Direct2U Prescriptions vs. going to any other pharmacy.


Can I use Direct2U anywhere in Canada?

Yes! Whether you’re travelling, working away or home for the summer, you can visit any Sobeys, Safeway, Lawtons Drugs, FreshCo or FreshCo Chalo!


Can the pharmacy help support my health?

Yes. Pharmacists will assess and prescribe medication where appropriate. Fee for service may apply. More information can be found on the 360Health Pharmacy & Wellness digital service or by contacting a Sobeys or Lawtons Drugs.


Do I need to reference D2U Prescriptions at the pharmacy?

No just present your drug card and the enhanced coverage will be automatically applied.

How to Access Direct2U Physical Therapy:

Complete the online Direct2U Physical Therapy Form and select a Virtual Physiotherapy appointment time that is convenient for you. Typically, treatments can start within 24 hours.

Complete Physical Therapy Form

Direct2U Physical Therapy - powered by Phzio - bills on your behalf to your insurance carrier. Direct2U Physical Therapy is more affordable than standard physiotherapy rates. An assessment costs $59, and a follow up costs $39. You may have a co-pay that is needed, and Phzio will therefore ask for your credit card information upon registration.

Just as the ability to be seen by a doctor virtually is rapidly expanding, with your Direct2U Doctors coverage for example, it is interesting to learn that most physiotherapy-related concerns can be assessed virtually, with major injuries such as fractures being the exception. Research shows that virtual care for musculoskeletal injuries - involving bones, muscles, and joints – is as effective as in-person physiotherapy.

Some common physiotherapy virtual care conditions include:
  • Headaches
  • Neck and shoulder pain
  • Tennis and golfer’s elbow
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome
  • Back pain
  • Knee pain
  • Achilles tendonitis
  • Foot and ankle pain
  • Sports injuries

After booking your appointment, a member of the Phzio Provider Success Team will reach out to you and ensure you are session ready. With your consent, during your virtual care appointment, your PT will begin by asking questions about your concern. Range of motion pictures, and videos, may be captured to help your PT with their diagnosis.

If you have been experiencing shoulder pain, for example, your PT can take pictures of how high you can lift your arm and measure the range of motion. Your PT will then provide you with a home exercise program from a library of over 1,000 exercise videos. You can complete your exercises with your digital device any time, and follow-up with your PT or Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), until you are discharged.

VirtualCareNS gives Nova Scotians virtual access to a primary care provider. You must have a physical MSI health card in order to access VirtualCareNS.

  3. Receive a diagnosis, treatment and/or prescription that will be sent directly to your local pharmacy or delivered to your home.

    • Download PDF – A complete summary of your consultation.
